What does pending mean after I click submit?

Once you finished filing your taxes with Column Tax, we submit your return to the IRS and applicable state agency, who still need to review it before it can be accepted. Your return will show as pending until that happens, which can take 24–48 hours. If your return is pending, there’s nothing you need to do. If we need more information from you, or need you to make changes to your return, we’ll let you know.
