What if I do not qualify for Everdraft?

Modified on Sun, 1 Feb at 10:33 PM

If you try to access an Everdraft™ cash advance but don’t qualify right now, nothing bad happens to your Beem account — but you simply won’t be able to receive a cash advance until your eligibility changes.

Here’s what that means and what you can do:

1. You still keep your Beem account and free features

Even if Everdraft™ isn’t available to you yet, you can still use your Beem account normally and access the following features:

  • Play games and earn cash
  • Buy gift cards from available brands
  • Add, withdraw, send, and receive money using your Beem wallet
  • Access financial services like Personal Loans and Auto Insurance (eligibility and terms apply)
  • Use Beem’s AI features (available up to a certain free usage limit)
  • Subscribe separately to optional add-ons like Device Protection and Wellness benefits

2. Everdraft™ eligibility is based on financial signals

Beem evaluates your income patterns, bank activity, and how consistently you use and replenish your linked account to determine eligibility for a cash advance.

3. You can improve your eligibility over time

If you aren’t approved now, you can increase your chances of qualifying in the future by:

  • Keeping a consistent inflow of income to your linked bank account
  • Ensuring your bank account stays active and regularly used
  • Completing identity verification and ensuring your details are accurate
  • Maintaining positive balances and avoiding overdrafts

In short, if Everdraft™ is unavailable or you don’t qualify yet, you still keep your account and can use all other free Beem features. You can work on improving your income and account activity to become eligible later.
