Primary Bank Account: A primary bank account is your main account where you receive your salary and pay your major bills.
This account helps our system qualify you accurately. It will also auto-collect your monthly dues, so you don't have to worry about Beem dues and refills.
Typically, this account is linked to your employer or payroll provider. If you have more than one primary account, we urge you to link all of them so that you have a higher chance of qualifying.
Changing Primary Bank Account:
- To change the primary bank account follow the below steps.
- Add a secondary checking bank account and the debit card associated with that bank account.
- Go to the linked account section either from the Homepage OR the settings page of the Beem App.
- The “Set as Primary Bank account “ checkbox will be shown against the secondary bank account you linked.
- Click on that checkbox, post which you will see a bottom sheet to update the primary bank account.
- Upon confirming, the primary bank account will get updated.
- If you are an Everdraft Qualified User
- If an active subscribed user tries to change their primary bank account, they may see an upgrade or downgrade in the current qualification based on the new account which is marked as Primary.
- If there is a decrease in the qualification, the user has to confirm whether or not he/she wants to proceed with the change.
- If there is an increase in the qualification amount, then the user may be asked to upgrade to a higher plan depending on the qualification amount.
- If a user has dues and wants to change the primary bank account, in that case, the user has to clear the dues first and then the user will be able to change the bank account.
