Before you begin, ensure you have:
- A bank account already linked to your Beem app
- A debit card that belongs to this linked bank account
Follow these simple steps to link your debit card:
- Open the Beem app
- Scroll down and tap "Bank accounts & cards"
- Find your linked bank account and select "Link card" (if no card is linked) or "Replace" (if there is an existing card that needs to be replaced)
- When prompted, allow Beem camera access to photograph your card
- Scan both sides of your debit card, ensuring your name, card number, and expiry date are clearly visible
Important Notes for verifying the primary debit card linked under the primary bank account:
- A $0.57 verification charge will be applied to your account. Ensure you have sufficient funds available. This amount will be refunded once the card verification process is completed.
- Verification typically takes up to 24 hours.
- If the 24-hour TAT is breached and the debit card is still not verified, please share the latest bank statement to "[email protected]" showing the $0.57 debit after you have followed the card linking process.
The above points do not apply to debit cards linked to secondary bank accounts (non-primary bank accounts) or to cards linked to the primary bank account but not designated as the primary card. Non-primary cards can only be added but cannot be verified.
Remember:
- The card must belong to your linked bank account
- Use only valid, non-expired debit cards
- Avoid repeated linking attempts, as this may delay verification
