Connectivity issues can sometimes prevent some trips from being recorded. When the app isn’t able to detect certain parts of the trip, we can’t record and score that trip. To avoid these issues, consider these options:
- Issue with location permissions:Check that your location permissions are turned on Keep your location permissions to “Always Allow” at all times, even when you’re not using the app.
- For iOS - To see your location permissions, go to your phone’s Settings > Beem app > Locations > Always
- For Android - Go to Settings > Apps > Beem App > Permissions > Location > Allow all the time.
- Keep your precise location on in both cases
- Low power mode: Avoid driving in low power mode since it can affect connectivity
- Background app refresh: make sure it is enabled for Beem.
- Lag in updating details: In some cases, there may be a lag in updating the drive details in your app. This could be because the drive took place in an area with low network connectivity.
- Vehicle type: The app will only record trips made in cars. In case the trip was made on a bike or two-wheeler, it will not be recorded.
